Experience
I have been working as a professional coach since January 2023, primarily with individuals looking to re-skill and upskill in their careers through the means of Apprenticeships. Prior to this, I spent 10 years working in corporate and third sector roles in which people leadership, mentorship, and coaching were always a key part. My experience has given me both trained and intuitive coaching skills, covering: performance coaching as a manager, career coaching as a people leader, and coaching as a mentor to peers and junior professionals.
In addition to in-situ experience, I have completed thoughtfully selected leadership and personal development programmes, retreats, and courses, each of which bring a unique flavour and diversity to how I can support my clients. I read widely on the subjects of coaching, wellbeing, mental health, neurodiversity and personal development—and I’ll always have a book recommendation for you. Participating in networks and coaching communities is also a key part of my method. It keeps my knowledge of best practises broad and up to date, and lets me learn from the many excellent people out there already doing brilliant things in the profession.
Inclusion & (Neuro)diversity
I am not a trained professional in areas of neurodiversity, but I bring lived experience of ADHD—a diagnosis I received when I was a little girl, before many knew how it shows up in women and girls. I am eagerly curios about how neurodiversity affects each and every one of us. The shape of my brain continues to present both challenges and opportunies, and I have a deep sensitivity and interest in topics of accessibility, equity and inclusion. I feel at my best when I am understood and accomodated—and I want the same for you. I prioritise adapting my approach to the human and the brain in my coaching space.
Professional Practise
I have been coaching in some capacity for the last decade, but with the decision to professionalise my private practise I am now also pursuing ICF (International Coaching Federatrion) accredited qualification through CTI, the Co-Active institute. I believe that regulation, standardisation, and rigorous training, should be prioritised in the coaching industry. My commitment to my cleints is to leverage the most respected institutions, knowledge, and best practices in the profession be able to deliver the highest quality coaching experience possible.
